" TEST PHASE 1: Game Freeze " (Morr)back

Dear all,
as it has been alreadily posted in the game news, we are going to freeze the game for a few days and introduce a few 'features' which we think are crucial for the game balance.

Generally speaking new features will be alway 'switchable', me or Sigmar will be able to turn on or off a feature for some time. Thus done we will be posting news about the game configuration currently running in the news.

Here I will try to list the different features briefly, I am hoping for your contribution to make our mud one of the best out there.

Armour Change:
The target of this feature is to allow different styles of equipment. Currently the
higher the abs the best defence. PB and DB and Shield Bonuses are pretty much
minimum and the armour maluses seem not to affect much to divert players to
select more lighter armour types.
Here we want to push the general armour + defence issues plus the ob+db+pb
calculations to see how we can obtain a versatile system.

simple fact is if someone is ARMOURED, we cant hit a bloody thing yet a thief type can dodge around us stabbing us to death....if we are so 'armoured' HOW is anyone stabbing us? ive got thick plate on 1 char. there are ONLY so many weak points on a armoured char +with a shield half of them are covered. that 50 pounds for a steel shield is a joke, a Breastplate is larger in area and just as thick yet doesnt have the same weight...
