Just recently login times were switched from 5 minutes to 15 minutes, without any notice on the news *cough*. If WARP were a better developed mud with a larger player base, I can easily see this being reasonable. I know there might be some worry about gods logging on just to check to see who is on. What I see as a problem is, we have so few people who play mortal, all it takes is 2 people on one side and your side has a huge advantage. Also, kind of boring to play on a side alone for some, so why punish people for playing where their friends might be. We are so new that does it really matter if some dudes want to cheat to get that extra wp or get that new item, it will all change soon enough anyways *fingers crossed*. For now we should just relax, let things get tested, and not have such a long time to wait to play. |

It was because several people used this to get into PK fights after just 5 minutes wait.
For example a low level elf who hear two dwarves narrating about being in skaven cave, then go rent and log a skaven after 5 minutes to try and kill them inside. Or immos hearing narrates about a fight and renting then logging after 5 minutes to join the fight. If you're concerned about numbers being an advantage with few players, then you should be glad about a 15 minutes limit rather then argue against it imho ;) |

at least in that case there is someone to fight against. some people have been doing that indeed. dont care much about it. as long as they stay fighting not insta rent after getting some kind of lame ass kill. |

Yes but when someone get jumped in an area by a character who's immortal/friendly char they just saw on, that's obviously not good.
And if you people died to someone who did that, I know you would complain about it. So before it happens too many times, we raise the cross-race time to 15 minutes. |
