Do you have an original idea for plants, fooditems or even something of the sort?
Bring it up! |

I want some Bugman's beer to drink while Im on the road. Human beer is pretty much pisswater, and many a dwarf has lived on nothing else but a good ole barrel of Bugman's during a campaign! |

Would it be possible as a Dwarven racial skill to brew. Strength would obviously if possible depend on the quality of the ingrediants used and the level of brew.
This would also create a trading situation between the best dwarf brewmasters and the human race who are particually fond of dwarven beer. Also giving the Orc forces something to focus on in their raids into the empire (see the last 3 White Dwarf magazines detailing Bugmans lament and the campaign around the goblin sacking of his brewery). Hmm, nice idea :)
First of course we'd need a couple of close-by fields for the ingredients though, and then the ingredients. So what's beer need? Grain, water and? (Something to make it totally dwarvish?) |

Ok, here's an idea that I got from reading the warhammer orcs & goblins book. It should be possible for fanatics to make fungus beer with the Mad Cap mushroom. This beer should have a very interesting effect on the fanatic that will be very 'warhammerish'. My suggestion is that a number of pulses after drinking the beer(maybe 100 or so) the player of the fanatic goes haywire. He/she would lose control of the char which would just move around swinging the flail, hitting everything in it's way. It would probably work like the whirling death wardance and maybe add a bit of speed to the attacks. After a certain amount of time, like 20 seconds, the fanatic would end up exhausted and dizzy, and probably quite hurt.
The point of this is that it could be used as a war tactic for a group of greenskins; send in the fanatic first and then charge when it's done it's work. Chances are that the fanatic will move back and smash into the greenskin group though, since the player can't control his movement, so it's quite hazardous. In certain situations, this could of course be pretty lethal, if the enemies are in a closed room for example. But I don't think it would be too overpowered, since the fanatic probably dies and could get bashed/kicked etc perhaps. What do you think? |
