*L104 /MOB MISC In the /mob misc menu, a wide number of settings are made for the mobile. This helpfile will describe each of them. Alignment - This is a numerical value between -1000 and +1000. To see what is reasonable as align, HELP ALIGNMENT should be refered to. Default_position - This is the position in which the mobile displays its ldesc. For 99% of all mobiles, this is standing. Gold - The money system is when this is written not done. So avoid setting a number for money until it has been settled. Height - This is the height for the mobile. How long it is is irrelevant. This means a snake for example has a very low height. Height is meassured in centimeters. A value of 180 thus means the mobile is 180 centimeters high. For those unfamiliar with the metric system here is a table: 1 centimeter = 0.39 inches 2.54 centimeters = 1 inch 30.48 centimeters = 1 foot 91.44 centimeters = 1 yard You can use "tell calculator 5*30.48" for example, if you want to know the centimeters of a creature 5 feet tall. Level - This is the level of the mobile. The level is a fairly critical number and should be considered well before setting. A high level usually means a powerful or special creature. Some examples of reasonable levels (not to be taken as requirements): A child - level 1 A sly fox - level 3 A young, inexperienced orkish warrior - level 6 An old, scarred grizzly bear - level 14 A battle-hardened veteran - level 21 A skaven warchief - level 28 An ancient gold-hued drake - level 40 Owner - The owner of the mobile. Usually the same as the owner to the zone with the same virtual number (mobile 500 usually belongs to zone 5) Position - The position the mobile will load in. Typing /mob misc position, without arguments, will yield a list of available positions. Note that having a different position from default position, means that the mobile, when loaded, will not display its ldesc. Sex - The sex of the being, male, female or neutral. Neutral things can be living plants, for example. Side - There are 4 options to side: Neutral, Good, Skaven, Greenskin. If a side besides Neutral is set, it means this mobile is a participant of the race wars, and will be aggressive to mobiles and players of opposing sides. Wild animals or non-intelligent beings should never have a side set. Type - This is important for a number of functions, such as spell effects and combat effects. It decides what type of creature it is. Typing: /mob misc type, without further argument, yields a list of available types. More types will be added when a need/reason for them comes up. Weight - How heavy is the mobile? This value is set in a numerical value, where each point represents 11 grams. Setting a value of 7000 would thus means the mobile is 7000 grams heavy, which equals 7 kilos. 1000 gram = 1kg = 2.2 pounds 1 pound = 0.45kg = 450 grams Thus, if you want to make a human weighting 80kg (175 pounds), you can do 80*1000 = 80000 Or if you are unfamiliar with the kilo system, and just know you want to make a mobile with a specific weight in pounds, you can multiply the pounds with 450 and you will have its weight in pounds. A 33 pound mobile: 33*450 = 14850. So it weights 14850 grams.
