/PURGE

With the /purge command you remove objects, mobiles and even players from
a room. 

/purge <no argument> This removes all mobiles and objects in the room. It
                     does not touch the players currently there.

/purge <mobile alias> This removes the first mobile with this alias in
                      the room. It removes all eq it had too.

/purge <object alias> Works only on objects on the ground in the room,
                      not on objects carried by anyone.

/purge <player name> Logs a player off but saves all it's eq.
