/ROOM FLAGS With the room flags, various settings can be added to rooms. Syntax: /room flag dark [gives your current room the DARK flag] /room flag -lit [removes the LIT flag from your current room] Note that the effects for some flags are used by default on some rooms depending on terrain. Indoors sectors such as caves/rooms/tunnels are always dark, indoors and noride, so there is no need to set these flags. Of course you can set a LIT flag on a cave if you want it to be permanently lit... These room flags are available right now: DARK: A room flagged as dark will always be dark unless a player or mobile brings a light source to it. LIT A room flaged lit will always be lit even if there is no lightsource present. NO_MOB Mobiles will not go into a room with NO_MOB flag. INDOORS A room with the INDOORS flag is unaffected by weather and do not get time of day messages such as nightfall. PEACEFUL In a roow with the PEACEFUL flag, combat can not be initiated. Typically this flag should not be used except in extremely rare circumstances. SOUNDPROOF In a SOUNDPROOF room, no noise can be heard. You can not talk or hear yells. This should typically not be used except in very rare (and motivated) circumstances. NO_MAGIC In a room with NO_MAGIC flag, spells can not be cast. DAYTIME A room with this flag acts as outdoors for timed messages such as dawn and nightfall. This can be used on places where you are indoors but can see the outside through a window for example. PRIVATE This should never be used in zones where mortals can go. It limit a room to max two people, so it can be used for private conversations. GODROOM Only use for rooms meant for immortals. NORIDE A room with NORIDE flag can not be entered riding a mount. NONARRATE In rooms with NONARRATE flag a player is both unable to narrate and hear the narrates of others.
