[ BOARDS ]


GENERAL

'exam board' or 'look board' shows all unread messages on the relating board,
while 'tail' just shows the last 20 messages on this board, no matter if read
or not.

'tail all' will show the whole board and 'tail <num>' will just show the last
<num> messages.

'catchup' marks all messages as 'read', while 'reset' resets those flags.
'catchup all' does catchup all boards.

'keep <num>' does allow you to remember a message, so that it will keep being
shown on 'exam board'. This command is a toggle. So using it again will revoke
the previous selection.


READING

'read <num>' reads the message with the given number.

'read thread' reads the next message in the current thread, while 'read next'
just reads the next unread message on the board. 'read again' reads the last
message again.

'view <num>' will display the message by using your clients local-viewing
capabilities. If there are none, it will just use the standard paged output.

'unread <num>' removes the 'read flag' from the relating message.


POSTING

'write <subject>' posts a message on the current board with given subject.
'reply <num>' will reply to the message with the given number. It will quote
the old message and prefix a '> ' in each line. PLEASE keep the quoted part
as small as possible and remove unrelated information!

Immortals of level 207+ may post with names other than theirs. Quite useful
for RP posts to post with the name of a mobile. Using a '$' in the subject,
all the text after the '$' is used as the poster name.
e.g.: 'write News $The Postmaster'


REMOVING

Under following conditions 'remove <num>' removes message <num>:
- the message has been posted by you
- no newer message has yet been posted

Immortals of level 207+ can remove any message.


MESSAGE INDICATORS

The message indicator is the character just in front of the message ID number,
which is displayed when examining the board.

        #       the message is marked HOLD
        !       you marked the message 'keep'
        *       the message was already read by you
