SHIELD BLOCK [SKILL PASSIVE]

Description:
 This skill increases your ability to use a shield efficiently to totally
 block enemy attacks. Without this skill you are not able to use a shield
 efficiently.

 Shield Block is a passive skill, which means you do not need to type any
 command for it to work (i.e. it is always active...). You do however need
 to wear a shield or buckler for this skill to work.

 When an attack blocked with a shield, it can cause the player no damage.
 The chance to successfully block a hit does not depend at all on the
 opponents Offensive Bonus or the players own Dodge and Parry. It is a
 defensive action apart from other defences.

 Various shields have varying shield block bonuses, and the higher your
 proficiency level in shield block, the more of the shield's bonus you are
 able to exploit.

 Sleeping, or otherwise being incapacitated will disable your shield block, 
 but you can still use your shield to defend you while resting. Styles do
 not affect shield block bonus.
