| Another new zone opens. What do people think of it? What kind of zones should we focus mostly on in the future? Post your opinions here! Just don't post any detailed zone information for those who havent visited them yet :) | |

| I bet people think: it's so retarded and frustrating! :P
Hm, we should get ppl active on this forum. We should also post news post in this forum as they do on elvenrunes, then ppl can whine and come with feedback to each news that comes along! - Daem

| Maybe have a small notice on the start screen, that encourages ppl to check out the website and spam the forum with ideas and comments about the game | |

| We got one when you get into the account menu. But yea we could add a note on the start screen too. | |

| Would be good. Add it to the ascii pictur. Like a sign or smth coming up from the ground! | |

| This is a good zone, I was around with my wizard and I can tell you that it gives you that feeling of mountain trekking. I also happen along to some other players who were whinning like crazy (3 peeps with a level sum being 80) so this is definately a very good zone, well did not go through the interesting parts but if these guys were whinning like this, it means that the quests are not for 'hack'n slash' but finally some really challenging and IQ required quests. I bet they will get more pissed off reading this too...
Btw having 'snow' foxes and goats and ibexes adds one more plus to the atmosphere! Keep on going whoever did the zone!

| I'd be really, REALLY careful insulting people that spent a tankload of manhours in that zone Eltharion. Sure it's a nice zone. I think at this point however, making quests that will take 5 high level chars to kill, then make it so only the 'smart' people can collect on loot and such is a bit extreme. And btw, I don't take myself for being dumb. Talk shit after doing the quest Eltharion. This mud needs less ubermobs with such a low player base. Did me Gror and Ravesh get irritated. You're damn right. History will show if anyone can solve the zone without more hints, or reading of code. I've been assured that no hints will be given. We'll see after some other 'smarther people' sit there for 5 hours. However, nothing pisses me off more, then to get insulted when I'm one of 5 active players in this game. Really smart dude. | |

| Well I do know im stupid, but that stupid? just rethink to whom are you making those quests. | |

| Oki, I am sorry if I was so direct and so personal and starting a flame in this board.
But RETHINK on how a few of you especially reacted to that friendly immortal, that tried to answer to you, and for long you insisted and boasted in narrates and tells that noone will be able to solve that quest. And as a final notice remember how you arrogantly suggested that 'this kind of quests will be always solved by an immortal anyways'. So tell me this, did someone have to write a flame post to make you interested in posting? Even if it is negative, is this the only way to get from you active players a 'stuctured' answer/review in such a place where finally alot of us mortals and immortals can read? I was so happy that Rogon posted this and I thought I push you to give your oppinions here. If you do not like it, in near future, I will keep pinching on you guys, being the 5 apparently active players of Warp. Regretfully yours.

| Only sensible hint that actually helped us AT ALL was that there is possibility that poles can do smth else than obvious. So I really cant see the helpful immo part you are referring to. And how about understand our frustration too, total 4 players spent almost 5 hrs sitting in the zone doing thinktank which got us as far as ... completely nowhere except the totally obvious ofcourse. And I will say it again, its by far the most illogical and unfinished/irrelevantly hinted quest I have seen in my whole mudding experience. Just how the hell does that quest make sense to you I cant understand. And it would be totally unfair if just 4 of us get the hints about this quest here, it has to be so that all the players have the equal chance of solving it and currently I cant see how anyone besides immortals involved could solve it. | |

| So 3-4 players spend 4-5 hours each and fail to completely solve everything about a new zone.
It took months to do the zone. Who said everything has to be easy to complete in there? Alot of time was spent building and scripting the various things, quests etc, and you just want to walk in and snap a finger, read a desc, and its all clear. Well, maybe we wanted it to take more than that... If noone has completed it in half a year, then I'd start to seriously wonder if it was maybe too hard, and we need to add more clues. But if the first attempts at it fails, that's ok. No hints will be given by immos to anyone, and no immo who knows of this will be the guy who goes there and solve it. I'd be very unhappy with that, that'd clearly be abuse of power.

| Evrything? we found out almost nothing, thats the point and i would take it as semi normal if we had done it separately but we did it together and thats much better than solving things alone. Half a year? yeah fine, doubt Ill be playing by then if the quests will be that way in the future too. :P | |

| a) I was watching you guys most of the time when you were there. Even though you used alot of time in there, you didn't think very constructively. You basically tried the same things over and over in various approaches, there were never or rarely any new thoughts/ideas from any of you. even some of the ideas that WERE presented, by Ravesh mostly, the character Gror did not seem to be very interested in trying those out.
b) even if you go there with several people, if those people doesn't discuss actively about what they think, something you didn't do alot of, I do not count the 4 hours from each person as a total of 12 hours, but a total of 4 hours. c) your biggest problem is that you are so damn impatient, and need to get everything handed to you on a plate. d) there is a VERY BIG hint in that quest. and when you manage to decipher that hint the thing is very easily solved. e) even though we have few players yet - YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY FUCKING ONE! There might be some people that actually wants a challenge now and then. - Taal

| Just think of it as something to do if you have nothing else to do at the moment. Wouldn't it be kinda boring if you wait some months for a zone, and then solve the quest in like, tree days? | |
| 2004/12/01, 01:50, Ares: | |
| On Taal, stfu, you have noidea how much we used tells and all Raveshe's ideas were tried out same as evryone elses since we didnt have anything else to do anyway.
And why did we try same ideas all over? because there was NO WAY AT ALL to be shure if one approach was correct or not, since Someone didnt bother make any reaction on correct answer. Not to mention that that quest can now be done (even to try solving it) by minimum 4 highlevel people so doesnt matter at all if the 3 people have time or not.

I would ask kindly Sigmar to remove it.

| Actually, since I snooped you, I have exactly the idea on how much you used tells. Unless you chatted outside of the mud that is.

| Could of course close this discussion, but I'm not sure if closing a discussion is the right way to go. They should be allowed to have their opinons on this, even if those opinons differ from ours.

| I don't see any reason to close it. An open discussion about the zone is IMO the best way to get feedback from people. Of couse, if the thread goes totally offtopic and people are doing nothing but calling eachother silly things, it could be closed yea. | |

| Dudes I was pointing to the under belly, personal attacks. :) We should perhaps put an *adult* warning or such nuttin more. | |

| Bullshit! one of the only 4 active players in game?
Guess what, most of us 'most active players in game' were recruited to BUILD this bloody game, thank you very bloody much!.As ive said before, if you think the game isnt growing fast enough...MAKE A IMMORTAL AND HELP BUILD THE DAMN PLACE NOT BITCH ABOUT IT. i havent been playing ANY of my char seriously in 2-4 months. Hell i havent even explored 1/8 of this game yet cause i put my money where my mouth was and accepted a Immortal slot. And that Quest? i was HOPING someone would build a evil ass quest/mob/puzzel for the higher level players....cause after all this time im seeing 30+ level players that do nothing but PK 13+ level players and think they are the SHIT!.....they couldnt be more wrong in this game with no player base. Why dont you folks with 30+ level char start a new char, stop PKing the newbies (many of which have left the game because of ya'll) and build new char and attempt to RP!....or maybe find your heart and show a newbie around. God knows there are no maps of the game with a Huge ass city to explore just to get outside. yet those with maps (ive maps that ive mapped out myself and any that ask for them i share with).....the rest of you folks? snowballs chance in hell. you want a Player Base? Share maps, talk about the eq, HELP NEWBIE NOT PK THEM. its really very simple. one last thing, i hope that the senior IMMORTAL make pk 30+ and over levels only........................THAT WILL HELP BUILD A PLAYER BASE. Nonrespectfully, Bragni

| Though I not the person to comment the quest, as I have no idea what it is about and I have no mortals...
...but why do you think that all quests have to be so easy? There are tons of things that you think for days and try new apporaches, everything doesn't have to be instantly obvious. I hope that the quest will make a lot of sense if one should complete it. Of course, comments in this thread if it should be solved of the things that should've been made differently or better would be very welcome. That way, builders could learn from their mistakes.
